Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is transforming the media and entertainment (M&E) industry by enabling cloud-native innovation at scale. As a Senior Solution Architect for OCI Media Services, you will be a key technical leader, driving the adoption of OCI by designing high-impact solutions, mentoring junior architects, and ensuring seamless integration between OCI and third-party ISV ecosystems.

You will work closely with the Lead Solution Architect to shape technical strategy, optimize complex deployments, and act as a trusted advisor to both customers and partners. Your deep expertise in M&E workflows, with a specific focus on Broadcast, and cloud infrastructure, will be critical in accelerating customer migrations and expanding OCI’s leadership in the industry.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in M&E cloud solutions (Broadcast), guiding ISVs and customers on best practices for OCI integrations, performance optimization, and scalable architectures.
  • Advanced Solution Design: Architect and document high-value, repeatable solutions (e.g., IP transformation, remote production, signal management and end-to-end pipelines) that combine OCI services with partner technologies.
  • ISV & Partner Enablement: Lead technical engagements with strategic ISVs, ensuring their solutions are fully optimized for OCI and addressing complex integration challenges.
  • Customer Acceleration: Partner with Strategic Customer Engineering (SCE) and sales teams to design and deploy mission-critical workflows for enterprise customers, ensuring success in large-scale migrations.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior architects, contribute to internal technical enablement, and drive consistency in solution design across the team.
  • Voice of the Customer: Advocate for customer and ISV needs by providing structured feedback to OCI product teams, influencing roadmap priorities to close critical gaps.
     

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years in technical roles (Solutions Architecture, Consulting, or Engineering) with deep expertise in media workflows (broadcast, production, distribution, or gaming) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven cloud expertise in OCI, AWS, or Azure - especially OCI - including advanced knowledge of compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with M&E technologies (e.g., media codecs, transcoding, storage systems, DRM, CDNs) and familiarity with key ISV solutions in the space.
  • Strong leadership presence – ability to influence stakeholders, mentor peers, and drive consensus across engineering, product, and sales teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving – adept at troubleshooting cross-stack issues and designing resilient, high-performance cloud solutions.
  • Communication excellence – skilled at translating complex technical concepts for executives, engineers, and creative professionals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
