Senior Technical Recruiter, Manufacturing/Production/Supply Chain

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter, specialised in Manufacturing, Production and Supply Chain teams. In this role, you will do full cycle recruitment, working closely with the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain leaders, on finding and attracting the most exceptional candidates to join a category defining team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles in Manufacturing, Production and Supply Chain

• Partner directly with the VP Manufacturing and hiring managers to understand talent needs, craft job descriptions, and calibrate profiles.

• Proactively source top-tier candidates through outbound outreach, networking, and events.

• Drive and continuously refine a world-class candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

• Lead and optimize interview processes and scorecards for consistency and effectiveness.

• Champion 1X’s employer brand in the AI and robotics communities through events, online presence, and thought leadership.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with People Operations and HR to improve recruiting tools and systems.

Requirements

• Significant  years of full-cycle manufacturing recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth hardware tech companies (bonus points if they are known for their talent density)

• Proven success sourcing and hiring for manufacturing and supply chain roles, especially in hardware tech domains in the Bay Area and other competitive markets.

• Deep understanding of manufacturing settings and global supply chain organisations.

• High agency, low ego. You operate autonomously, deliver results, and seek to improve everything you touch.

• Creative mindset - you have the ability to question and rethink Talent processes in order to reach both high calibre candidates and hidden gems.
  

Nice to have

• Prior experience recruiting for robotics manufacturing and supply chain teams.

• Supply chain, operations or manufacturing background or education.

• Experience with employer branding or talent marketing in deep tech spaces.
  

Location Policy

We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations.

Compensation

At 1X your work and results will be rewarded with a total rewards package consisting of a base salary, stock options and benefits. Base salary range is $132,000 to $186,000. Your actual salary will be based on your knowledge, skills and experience.

Typical interview process 

• Introductions - interviews to learn more about you and talk about 1X and the role

  • Interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team

  • Hiring manager / senior team member / technical interview

• Team interviews - technical interviews and deep-dives with team members. May include a take home challenge, presentation or problem-solving exercise

  • Technical deep-dive conversation with a team member 

  • Onsite interviews with team members 

• Final stages - you move to the final round

  • Expectation management with the hiring manager 

  • We will conduct reference checks

  • Job offer conversation
