Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team having experience in Cloud technologies. (Snowflake, GCP, Cloudera etc.).

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX is $125k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Dev Lead / Engineer for Data – Cloud technologies. (Snowflake, GCP, Cloudera etc)

• Able to Lead & solution AWS, Snowflake data engineering team & designs.

• Design, develop, and implement complex cloud-based data architectures.

• Provide technical view and expertise on Snowflake data warehouse and data lake capabilities.

• Strong understanding and hold on best practices for Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake data modeling, data integration, data pipelining, and data delivery.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements:

You are:

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in Data Engineering.

• Extensive experience with Snowflake Data Cloud, including data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing stored procedures and functions.

• Familiarity with Snowflake's architecture, data loading/unloading, and performance optimization techniques.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data architecture principles.

• Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.

• Experience with data visualization tools and data integration platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment.
