We are seeking a Clinical Educator Manager to lead our Clinical Education team! This is a remote position but requires 25-40% travel for fieldwork.

 

Summary

This field-based position is responsible for delivering against commercial objectives and targeted sales through the effective management of the US Clinical Education team. The Clinical Education Manager – Laryngectomy and Tracheostomy collaborates with the Laryngectomy and Tracheostomy teams represents the US clinical perspective on global clinical teams and projects; and fosters critical customer relationships to drive success.
 

Essential Functions

Leadership and Performance Management

  • Provide direction to meet or exceed organizational key performance indicators, sales targets, and quotas.
  • Champion change efforts to enhance the effectiveness of clinical education in supporting sales.
  • Recognize and celebrate team accomplishments, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a highly competent, experienced, and ethical Clinical Education Team.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and coach in skill development.
  • Grow and develop onboarding, training, and professional development opportunities.

 

Clinical Education Initiatives

  • Spearhead education development initiatives crucial for the organization’s success to include: leading courses, attending key conferences, and actively determining and delivering against the educational needs of healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and internal stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, adapt education strategies accordingly, and ensure the Clinical Education Team is equipped with necessary tools and resources to execute impactful educational programs.
  • Interface and represent the clinical perspective of US clinicians and the landscape of the US healthcare system for global teams and projects.
  • Oversee educational offerings and develop and guide the clinical team in execution.

 

Customer Relationships

  • Build customer loyalty and multiple relationships within customer organizations.
  • Prioritize the customer experience when making decisions and respond promptly to customer issues.
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and strategic accounts.
  • Build and support clinical advisory boards to explore program, product, and pathway concepts with KOLs and return findings to the organization.

 

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and global teams to ensure accurate messaging for patients and HCP facing clinical and sales marketing collateral.
  • Provide project management and interface for localizing internal and external-facing projects ensuring output matches company and market needs.
  • Liaise to ensure all education content aligns with continuing education provider requirements.
  • Liaise with compliance and legal to ensure all education offerings are provided in accordance with guidance and policy.
