Role Summary At MetaPhase, we combine bold thinking and cutting-edge technology to solve complex federal challenges—and we believe in doing it all with authenticity and heart. As a Cloud/Software Engineering Intern, you’ll join a mission-focused delivery team building secure, user-friendly, and scalable software solutions for government clients. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your technical skills while learning Agile delivery in a real-world consulting environment. Essential Responsibilities

Work with the latest AI/ML/LLM technologies to maximize software delivery speed and quality
Devise solutions using the latest cloud computing platforms and services
Write, test, and maintain clean, reusable code in modern languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, React, Node.js)
Support the full stack development including backend APIs, frontend web applications, microservices, and cloud-based tools

Collaborate with team members by participating in industry-standard Agile practice
Partner with software developers and UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality, client-focused software using the latest DevOps and automation techniques
Think creatively to troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement
Adopt responsible coding practices by generating documentation and building knowledge repositories

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Go, Rust)
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows and branching strategies
Basic understanding of frontend and backend development principles
Passion for clean code, collaboration, and making an impact
U.S. Citizenship is required (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Bonus Points

Experience with frontend libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) or backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Flask, Spring Boot)
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with Agile development values and principles
Participation in hackathons, open source projects, or personal software projects
Interest in public service and technology in the federal space
