The Swiftwater Injectables Team provides technical expertise in the areas of formulation, filling and inspection to the Sanofi organization. This individual will assist with data compilation and execution of both small scale and large-scale formulation and filling development and validation studies in addition to providing visual inspection support. This individual will also assist with laboratory notebook studies for both licensed vaccines and vaccines in development under the guidance of senior staff.
The summer intern position will be located at the Swiftwater, PA site.
Responsibilities:
Assist Injectables Team with execution of small scale and large-scale development and validation studies.
Data compilation
Authoring of notebook studies
Assist with inventory management
Assist with Standard Operating Procedures updates as required based on document redlines
Provide hands on support for troubleshooting activities led by the Injectables Team
Assist with the creation of sets used to qualify visual inspection machines
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, health/life sciences, or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2029.
Must be enrolled the semester in school after completing the internship or Co-Op @ Sanofi.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
