THE POSITION

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Technology Transformation team. Our team enables the business to continue innovating by working with new technologies and new ideas, and this person will be responsible for driving many of our initiatives. The TPM will drive multiple complex, multi-disciplinary projects at a time – working with stakeholders to develop plans, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have (a) strong organizational, communication and analytical skills, (b) the ability to get stakeholders together and drive them towards a consensus, and (c) experience delivering programs that have significant impact across the wider organization. The Technology Transformation team works on internal initiatives, customer initiatives, and projects with 3rd parties, so wide-ranging program management experience is a plus. The role will report to the Technology Transformation Director.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Roll out new tools to the business, while also driving engagement, understanding usage, and measuring sentiment & business value of these tools. Also entails interviewing stakeholders and presenting findings to the team
- Partner with the Learning and Development team to ensure employees have consistent access to education for new tools
- Drive proof of concepts (POCs) forward by collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners, engaging the appropriate stakeholders, ensuring progress updates, gathering input, and managing program tasks such as project plans, interviews, follow-ups, and meetings.
- Drive and execute the planning of events, including FanDuel's Internal Global Hackathon, to deliver an engaging and enjoyable experience for employees. This entails:
- Upfront planning (e.g., working with internal comms to support company communications, working with IT to ensure participants have access to tooling, and working with 3rd parties to get relevant programming created)
- Being a point of contact during the week of (e.g., to route participants questions, aggregate materials to send out)
- Managing ideas to ensure they get routed to the appropriate teams after the event
- Build relationships across the business – both within tech (e.g., engineering teams and enterprise IT) and across other business units (e.g., internal comms and product)
- Use project management practices to make things easier for our own team where applicable
- Identify opportunities for our team to ensure innovative
