<h1><b>About the Role:</b></h1><p></p><p><b>Grade Level (for internal use):</b></p>10<p><b>The Role</b>: To strengthen our team, we are looking to hire an analyst for European and Middle East Africa Vehicle Production.</p><p></p><p><b>The Impact:</b> As a Vehicle Analyst in the Automotive team you will support the development and maintenance of detailed and up-to-date forecasts on the dynamics of the European &amp; MEA light vehicle sales/production environment supporting the needs of top OEMs and Supplier clients.  </p><p></p><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Researching and analyzing the European and Middle East/Africa (MEA) vehicle production market and representing this scope of knowledge to clients in forecasts, custom reports and intelligence briefings.</p></li><li><p>Using specialized knowledge of the automotive market in Europe and MEA to enrich the S&amp;P Global Mobility databases.</p></li><li><p>Understanding and applying our methodologies; effectively utilizes our tools and data sources to form sound forecast conclusions; effectively utilize S&amp;P Global Mobility databases; Supporting forecast assumptions with clients in a constructive manner.</p></li><li><p>Providing commentary with analysis and rationale supporting vehicle forecasting.</p></li><li><p>Networking with key contacts in the automotive market to validate data and exchange intelligence.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring that all services for which responsibility is held are produced and maintained at the highest quality levels and consistently delivered on a timely basis</p></li><li><p>Providing analytical support to clients both face to face and online.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications and skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>The minimum requirement is a university undergraduate degree in business, economics or a form of <span>mechanical/electrical</span> engineering.  Business and economics would be preferable.</p></li><li><p>A successful candidate would usually have more than 5 years of experience executing market research activities for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive component supplier.  Other areas of experience could be in direct vehicle production forecasting activities for an automotive forecast/analysis firm or a consulting company focused on the automotive vertical.  Another area could be a candidate which has direct automotive component purchasing experience with a vehicle manufacturer.</p></li><li><p><b>Fluency in German and English is a must</b>, <b>written and spoken at a business level.</b> An additional third language would be of advantage in this role.</p></li><li><p>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office to include expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.</p></li><li><p>Above average communication skills to include writing, interpersonal and listening as well as presentation skills gained with large and small audiences.</p></li><li><p>Organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and to effectively prioritize under pressure towards tight deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Strong analysis skills and the ability to assess and interpret information.</p></li><li><p>Strong database manipulation skills.</p></li><li><p>Flexibility and the ability to creatively problem-solve.</p></li><li><p>Well-developed relationship building skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About S&amp;P Global Mobility</b></p><p>At S&amp;P Global Mobility, we provide invaluable insights derived from unmatched automotive data, enabling our customers to anticipate change and make decisions with conviction.
