The goal of Foodbuy’s Internship program is to provide an opportunity to engage in impactful projects acquiring hands-on data analytics experience across departments in the organization while balancing professional development and leadership growth sessions within a dynamic, hybrid work environment. The expected duration of this internship is 10 weeks with a start date of May 20, 2024. 

 

What is Operations?

• The Data Operations team ensures we receive purchase data and calculate profit and other financial metrics so we can accurately bill suppliers.
• The team is made up of many sub-teams including vendor onboarding, catalog management, termset management, data acquisition and quality control. All of these teams help in maintain the integrity of our data.

 

In this role you can expect exposure to the below:

• Data mining and mapping audits within Supply Chain system (Customer DCN’s, Distributor Items, AP Vendors, etc) to identify missed revenue opportunities
• Ad Hoc projects and analysis related to business needs
• Exposure to SQL, PowerAutomate, AI Builder, PowerBI Testing and Development

 

Requirements:

• Sophomore or Junior studying supply chain, finance, business, analytics or other relevant courses
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Solid organizational and communication skills
