As a Marketing Research and Intelligence (MR&I) Associate Manager, you will play a key role in developing our advertising business through the creation of audience insights and application of measurement studies for leading brands and agencies.

What you'll do
- Shape, drive and implement research and measurement strategies across key clients and verticals based on research needs/business questions.
- Build and deliver research roadmaps that align with key vertical, agency, and market initiatives.
- Build compelling, multi-source, advertising research accounts that educate our sellers, marketers and clients.
- Extract insights from large and diversified data sets (1st party and custom research) to provide hypotheses while using insights to answer sales, marketing, and business development questions.
- Partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to build scalable solutions tailored to specific vertical needs.
- Provide strong recommendations that feed into future client strategies while developing new and innovative ways to position and present data analytics.
- Influence collaborators and change behaviour to improve business outcomes.
- Apply sophisticated advertiser insight stories to answer requests that include brand/competitor/industry benchmarks across various metrics/media platforms with minimal oversight.
- Enlighten internal and external partners on media performance trends and standard processes to encourage business decisions across our business.
- Bring fresh ideas to Spotify’s point of view regarding new and/or current solutions to research and measurement while educating our Sales and Marketing teams.
- Have a strong POV on validity of data sources and ensure that all insights are consistent and methodologically sound.
- Present custom thought leadership research and insights at client, agency, and industry events as needed.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify and outline top performing campaigns to publish as success stories.
- Partner with internal collaborators and clients regarding training and research consultation.
- Collaborate with leadership partners on Sales and/or Marketing initiatives.
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience in digital advertising research at a research vendor, media owner, advertiser or agency partner.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to lead while significantly contributing to our external meetings with clients.
- In depth understanding and extensive experience in driving incremental advertising revenue to research and measurement.
- Proven track record in associating with Top 100 global advertisers and driving measurement strategy in a given expertise area.
- Operates in a visible fashion to collaborators and peers, and viewed as approachable regarding ambitious talks.
- Strong background in quantitative advertising research, with demonstrated proficiencies in crafting and analyzing sophisticated research studies.
- High expertise in running multiple-forms of advertising measurement - Cross Media, Digital Measurement.
- In depth knowledge of understanding the digital marketing ecosystem, measurement capability landscape, and how it all works from a technical perspective.
- Proven expertise in data analysis and storytelling, going beyond the “what” to tell the “why” within research results.
- Previous usage of SQL desired.
- Experience with custom survey programming and data analysis software desired.
- Self-starter who digs into projects without needing much direction.
- Positive and collaborative teammate who values building positive relationships with colleagues and partners.
