Talent and Staffing Manager, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about partnering with technical managers, recruiting teams, and leadership to build and sustain IT, cyber, and engineering workforces in ever-changing environments? You'll use your strong communication skills, leadership skills, and expertise in talent and staffing strategy to collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and improve talent programs during large-scale change.

You'll work with technical managers, recruiting teams, and leadership to forecast and plan for future talent needs to stay ahead of the game. You will also be asked to serve as a Booz Allen practitioner in the management consulting pillars and assist with developing new service offerings and intellectual capital for talent initiatives.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in talent, talent acquisition, human resources, recruiting, sourcing, staffing strategy, talent and career development, onboarding and orientation, or workforce demand planning
  • Experience leading a team of 3 or more people
  • Experience determining staffing strategy and next steps for staffing hard-to-fill roles
  • Experience conducting market trend analysis, identifying process gaps, designing new business processes, or making recommendations for improvement
  • Experience designing and implementing talent programs for workforce development, retention planning, and succession planning
  • Experience supporting cross-functional and dispersed organizations
  • Experience delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment
  • Experience entering and maintaining data in low code and no code platforms or HRIS systems, and working with data management partners
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with talent, recruiting, or human resources

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with change management, strategic planning, culture change, or mid-to-large-scale transformation
  • Experience working with cybersecurity, Agile, DevSecOps, or engineering teams
  • Knowledge of market trends in engineering and cybersecurity recruiting
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • Change Management, Human-Centered Design, or Project Management Certification
  • Agile, DevOps, or Cybersecurity Certification
