As a Med-Surg RN at Sentara Obici, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You’ll care for adult patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, chronic illness management, acute exacerbations, and more.

Your role will include:

• Comprehensive patient assessments and care planning

• Administering medications, managing IVs, and monitoring vital signs

• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and case managers

• Providing patient education and emotional support

• Advocating for patient needs with compassion and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or compact state

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred)

• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Passion for delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care
