About the role

DNV Business Assurance is seeking a Contract Support Specialist - Key Accounts & Admin for the Contract Support Team who will serve the team in supporting Operations and Sales with quote generation as well as contracts and amendments. They will be a key contributor within the team by supporting other team members and other teams as instructed by line manager. They will understand the certification industry, standards/schemes and requirements, for the ability to create accurate quotes for businesses of all sizes and complexity while prioritizing efficiency to provide the best customer service possible. 

The Contract Support Specialist - Key Accounts & Admin will support the Contract Support Team Manager as needed and will work in accordance with DNV overall goals and policies and will actively promote, support and facilitate the fulfilment of DNV's Purpose, Vision, and Values, and shall foster a culture of cooperation across North America and with other DNV units. 

This role is based at our DNV office in Houston, TX presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.

What You'll Do

  • Receive multiple daily requests for quotes/contracts/amendments.
  • Adheres to the guidelines to process requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with both the inside and outside Sales Teams, Operations, and Auditors in calculating audit days, developing sampling plans, and any other need in their request.
  • Review requests for quotes/contracts/amendments and determine next steps when handling more complex scenarios.
  • Input correct, complete, and valid data to avoid technical reverts and data issues downstream.
  • Support the coordination efforts between sales and operations when onboarding complex clients.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Coordinates with our technical accreditation team and other departments for needed approvals.
  • Ensure Technical reverts are resolved quickly to prevent delays in certificate issuance.
  • Prioritizes KPIs and ensures continuity and turnaround time by managing own workload well.

 What is Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Two (2) years of client service experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience relating to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Other ISO schemes. 
  • Ability to read/interpret accreditation requirements on audit durations and sampling plan requirements.
  • Working knowledge of IAF MD5 & IAF MD1.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to audiences of varying size, seniority and technical competency.
  • Knowledge of third-party accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to support complex scenarios.
