About the role
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations, sales, customers and own the service delivery order-to-cash process; identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
- Partner with operational, sales, commercial, pricing, and billing teams to drive sales enablement.
- Ensure pricing agreements are implemented and aligned in JDE, operations field tickets, customer field ticket and billing portals.
- Draft and distribute daily/weekly reports of invoicing status, shipped-not-invoiced rejections, and collection dispute rejections.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems.
- Support JDE optimization, and test and implement new systems or procedures to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Indirectly lead by example fostering a positive work environment in which employees professionally develop, grow, and retain.
- Able to inspire and rally a team to quickly resolve challenges. Builds leadership bench strength through individual self-accountability, training, and coaching.
- Develop a culture of lean and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement, determining root-cause of problem areas, analyzing data, and proposing solutions.
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Examine work for conformance to policies and procedures.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualification/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret financial reports and dashboards. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Internet software.
