Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and discreet Executive Protection & Security Operations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of personal security for the CEO and other senior executive leaders as required. This role ensures the safety, security, and privacy across all environments—domestic, international, corporate, and public—while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. This position reports to the Director, Global Security and will be based in Farmington, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Protection Operations:

  • Lead and oversee security operations in support of global executive protection efforts.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive protection strategies for the CEO and other executives as required, including travel risk assessments, route planning, and venue security.

  • Provide close protection during travel, public appearances, and high-profile events.

  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, private security, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless security coverage.

Vendor Oversight & Deployment:

  • Supervise the deployment of Executive Protection (EP) vendors, ensuring they are properly vetted, licensed, trained, and equipped.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and compliance checks.

  • Maintain a roster of approved EP personnel and ensure readiness for rapid deployment.

Security Operations:

  • Serve as a key contributor to the Global Security team, supporting strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence across enterprise-wide security programs, systems, and response protocols.

  • Manage and optimize security operations infrastructure, travel risk management, threat monitoring, and incident response capabilities to safeguard personnel and assets globally.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment with global security objectives and continuous improvement of operational practices.

Advance Planning & Site Assessments:

  • Conduct protective advances at known or anticipated locations the CEO will visit, including hotels, offices, airports, and event venues.

  • Assess physical security, emergency response capabilities, and local threat environments.

  • Prepare detailed advance reports including floor plans, ingress/egress routes, medical facilities, and local contacts.

  • Conduct route reconnaissance and establish alternate routes in case of disruptions or threats.

  • Plan and manage secure travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation.

  • Conduct advance site visits and liaise with venue and event security teams.

Protective Coverage at Public Events:

  • Provide discreet but effective protective coverage during public appearances, speaking engagements, and corporate events.

  • Coordinate with event organizers, venue security, and law enforcement to establish secure perimeters and emergency evacuation plans.

  • Monitor crowd behavior, access control, and potential threat indicators in real time.

Threat Assessment & Intelligence:

  • Monitor and analyze potential threats, including geopolitical, reputational, and physical risks.

  • Collaborate with corporate security and intelligence teams to proactively mitigate risks.

  • Maintain active liaison with the designated cybersecurity lead, to monitor and address digital threats directed towards Otis executives.

  • Ensure secure communications protocols are followed, including encrypted messaging, secure devices, and travel-related cyber hygiene.

  • Collaborate on digital footprint reduction and social media monitoring for threat indicators.

Residential & Office Security Management:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of physical security systems across operational locations worldwide.
