Job Mission:
To develop world class Record to Report function with-in the ASML Business Services group. The focus in this position is on executing and optimizing the accounting and reporting processes of our customer service activities in an effective and efficient way in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Establish a streamlined and optimized record to report process that ensures external compliance and supports management accounting for better decision making.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ownership for the financial accounting for the customer service activities within the USA and ensure proper and timely internal and external reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS revenue recognition guidance (ASC606 / IFRS15);
- Act as first contact person and business process expert within finance for the customer service activities in the USA towards business counterparts (e.g. Customer Service, Business Lines, Business Control, Sales Control, Order Management Desk etc).
- Provide insightful reporting and analysis to our business (control) counterparts and support on accounting topics;
- Drive improvement initiatives in the area of accounting, reporting and transactional processes and work closely with the EU and Asia teams;
- Execution and improvement of our internal control framework and SOX controls for the applicable customer service processes in USA, and
- Develop and demonstrate strong understanding of the customer service sales processes, reflected in the reports, analysis and commentaries provided to business counterparts within Customer Service, Business Lines, Business Control etc.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Economics.
- CPA degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 Years of relevant experience, preferably in a finance role or an audit firm
- Knowledge and experience with US GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of LEAN
- Affinity with internal controls, SOx, reporting, data analytics and continuous monitoring
- Affinity with end-to-end process optimization
- Experience with SAP or Oracle preferred
- Experience with reporting tools such as Spotfire preferred
- Advanced excel skills

This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
