Due to continued growth, HYDAC, a leading manufacturer in the fluid power industry, is seeking to fill a Product Manager position for our Cooling Systems Division. At HYDAC’s Charlotte area-based technology and production center the candidate would be responsible for the following:

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support to application engineering and field sales (Distributor, TM).
• Handle OEM quotations and price strategies and prepare price lists.
• Responsible for distributor, TM and customer service training initiatives.
• Recommend new products/modifications.
• Recommend and monitor stock levels.
• Develop and update product literature and new product publicity.
• Coordinate trade shows.
• Prepare and present product presentations, reports, plans, etc.
• Manages products.

Skills and Attributes

• Travel 30%-40% of the time.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental      regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general      public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in solutions where only limited      standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to use Database software, Development software, Internet software, Project Management software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

• Able to develop effective relationships with distributors, regional sales managers and customers.
• Must have good reasoning and math skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required. 
• Engineering degree preferred. 
• Fluid power specialist certification preferred. 
• 2-3 years’ experience in related industry. 
• CPA/CMA/MBA is a plus.
