Executive Support Specialist

LinQuest Corporation is hiring an Executive Support Professional to support HQ SpOC/S9A at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
The position will perform a variety of complex and routine administrative and secretarial duties with minimal or no supervision and in compliance with written and oral guidance and policies, execute independent decisions within established guidelines and perform a full range of administrative services including organizing a travel schedule, heavy calendar organization and management, such as making appointments, scheduling meetings, and completing expense reports.
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintain responsibility for organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling for a senior level officer or civilian.
- Assist the executives with managing and prioritizing the daily workload around emerging fire drills, including preparing meeting materials, maintaining continuity of office in the executive's absence, and overseeing and managing processes.
- Apply detailed knowledge of the government’s operations, organizational procedures, and personnel, and serve as a team player within the office.
- Be responsive and interactive with other administrative and leadership teams.
- Display and execute intent for self-improvement, pay strict attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establish priorities, and meet all deadlines.
- Review products to ensure content is in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and/or instructions.
- Meet regularly with leadership to align tasks and needs of the organization with outside requirements.
- Maintain situational awareness of team members to include tracking leave, telework, and TDYs using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Serve as the focal point for external communication
- Attend regular meetings in the directorate to understand current status of all projects
Required Skills:
- Expert in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Self-motivated, work independently, collaborate as part of a team to achieve office goals, and multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external senior-level executives and their assistants in a professional manner and be proactive in anticipating government and administrative needs
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of executive administration experience including managing very busy executive calendars, making domestic and international travel arrangements, and managing associated expense reports
- 3+ years of experience working in a military organization
- The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)
- This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance to be considered
Preferred Experience:
- BA/BS degree
Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $60,000 to $100,000 depending on relevant experience, education and qualifications.
