As a Sales Coordinator at Valmet, you will serve as the customer contact for assigned accounts and will be responsible for order processing and delivery follow-up for energy spare parts.

Primary duties include:

  • Process orders for standard OEM parts and consumables and enter into ERP system;
  • Review orders for completeness according to ERP reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing.
  • Acknowledge customer orders and provide order status and other related information;
  • Develop quotations for standard parts to support customer requests
  • Coordinate logistics for customer deliveries
  • Resolve ages receivables with customers;
  • Provide office back-up for Product Managers when needed to include researching machine components, establishing pricing, and quoting to the customer;
  • Participate in in-house department sales meetings and monthly staff meetings.

Requirements

Associate's Degree from a two year college or related field; 1 to 3 years customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Proficiency

  • Very good overall computer skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is important
  • Experience using various software systems including customer relationship management (CRM) tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, etc
  • ERP system data entry experience (Infor LN experience valued).
  • SalesForce Contact Center experience valued

Interpersonal

  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, able to work with minimal supervision managing multiple priorities
  • Strong team orientation but also able to work independently

Technical

  • Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics is a plus

Other

  • Knowledge and application of basic commercial terms
  • Knowledge of logistics and delivery terms
  • Ability to work in an office setting
