About the role

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience must demonstrate experience in ALL areas defined below: Gathering, eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders in an Agile environment. Performing business process modeling to visually map workflows prior to coding or system implementation, identifying process bottlenecks and redundancies, and facilitating alignment between business requirements and IT systems. Translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Identifying gaps between current processes and desired outcomes and recommending process improvements. Highly Desired: Working in an Agile IT organization, participating in iterative development processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Operating in federal or regulated environments where traceability, compliance, and risk-aware delivery. Experience working in JIRA software. Applicants with the following certifications are highly desirable: Academic Business Analysis Certificate (ABAC) Agile Analysis Certificate (AAC) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) Certified Foundation Level Business Analyst (CFLBA) Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
