CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
- Three (3) years of basic professional experience involving electrical, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning systems, or structural and architectural systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, grasp, push, and pull.
- Must be capable of climbing a 25-foot ladder.
- Must have manual dexterity with hands and fingers.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Maintenance & Construction Superintendent AND Facility Manager in monitoring employees on the jobsite, ensures safe work practices and that safety gear is utilized and maintained in good repair. Work with supervisor to oversee the Maintenance Team and assist in work assignment for Supervisor. Ensure assignments are completed daily.
- Carpentry-Masonry: Alter, repair, renovate buildings, garages, sheds, and outside storage areas. This is finishing work inside and outside buildings most frequently. Repair stairs, steps, porches, decks, banisters, railings, and install sheetrock, studs, headers
