Position Title: Operations Lead
Location: Pittston, PA

Work Hours: Full Time; 12 hour shifts
The Pittston facility is a brand new manufacturing facility specializing in Aseptic and ESL technologies with a full distribution center! The site will function on the foundational principles of a Safety/Quality first environment through the power of high-Performing Teams. All Joriki associates at the Pittston site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operations. The site will run with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment.
The Operations Lead at Joriki ensures the expected level of operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the production equipment to maximize operational efficiency and maintain Joriki’s high standards in safety and quality. This includes preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and making minor adjustments. This role will also be engaged in the refining of manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. There will be a potential for domestic/international travel during the training period.
A successful candidate has experience with:
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Working in a fast pace, high volume environment (Bonus if experience in the Food/Bev/Bottling/Medical Industries)
- Very familiar with Safety and Quality guiding principles
Responsibilities:
- Ensures a safe workplace is maintained and there is a safety mindset in all things we do.
- Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department.
- Oversees all process documentation and training program procedures to assure consistency of operational tasks, and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace.
- Ensures a quality product is being produced and all quality processes are being followed.
- Works directly with Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities on projects to improve quality, streamline efficiencies and reduce operating expenses
- Tracks productivity for measured shift efficiency and improvement
- Operates at or below the budgeted cost for production utilizing lean manufacturing procedures and cross training.
- Oversees adherence to inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy goals are constantly achieved.
- Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Performs other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
Requirements:
3 years of experience working with and on automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment
1-year prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office)
Basic understanding and application of mathematical skills to make production calculations and perform loss and waste analysis
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently without assistance.
Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motion Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer work.
Must be available to work extended hours and flexible time in different departments based on business needs.
Must be comfortable developing and conducting group trainings to employees
Aseptic and ESL manufacturing experience preferred.
