JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging community experience through strategic event planning and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on developing and executing a diverse calendar of events—including social gatherings, wellness programs, and community activities—while managing logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines to ensure high-quality experiences for residents.
In addition, the Lifestyle Director supports marketing efforts by assisting in the creation of newsletters, social media content, and other communications to promote events and maintain consistent community branding. Serving as a key ambassador, this role builds relationships with residents and local partners to enhance programming and foster a connected, active community environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
Event planning, coordination, and execution
Marketing strategy and promotional campaigns for events and programs for the community
Resident engagement and participation growth
Vendor and sponsor partnerships
Budget management and program planning
Communication and brand consistency
Customer Service
Engage with guests (residents) and staff and be a team builder.
Provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests (residents).
Lead staff and vendors in achieving a common vision and appropriate goals.
Provide effective written and verbal communication.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
High school diploma required; college degree is preferred.
Strong understanding of budgeting for events.
Competent in all standard Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook and Teams.
Knowledge of and Experience with Social Media channels
Understanding of any amenity, country club software/apps is a plus
Strong working knowledge of marketing techniques including utilizing online graphics programs including one of the following: Canva, photoshop or other.
Knowledge of e-blast systems including Constant Contact and/or Mailchimp.
Knowledge of website management (Wordpress) is preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong reading ability and the ability to respond within a 24-hour time frame.
Current Driver’s License
CPR/First Aid Certified
Occasional travel may be required.
