The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

About the Role

The Accounting Intern will focus on specific projects that are required by the team to meet Magna requirements and support our overall team goals. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with month-end financial reporting.
  • Utilize computerized accounting software programs.
  • Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform any other duties deemed appropriate for the position, as assigned.

Who we are looking for

Some related experience preferred, but would be willing to train the right candidate.

Your preferred qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Currently Attending a College or University.
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient Communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
  • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
  • This position will require a certain number of days in the Troy office.
