RSB-BiM Floater and Setup Specialist IV: 2nd shift (Internal/HTI Associates Only)

Job Description

The Floater & Setup Specialist is responsible for normal operation of all machines in the RSB-BiM Production Line.

Is responsible to perform machine changeovers and set ups according to the production plan.

Is responsible to perform adjustments within the HMI and machine tooling in order to ensure tolerances and quality are within specified guidelines on multiple machines.

Is responsible to troubleshoot minor problems to keep production running on the 2nd shift.

Is responsible to escalate technical problems beyond their capability to the Maintenance Department.

Is responsible to assist with regular operators’ daily duties.

Is responsible to run critical production machines in case of absence of operators.

Is responsible to train and monitor new production associates.

Actively communicates with other departments (Planning, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance

Additional Information

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school, Technical or vocational  schooling a plus.

3 to 5 years previous experience metalworking manufacturing press environment.

Experience running with HMI/CNC interface:

Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices, ability to read blueprints and check product to match, math skills appropriate to a machining environment

Identify and access common problems with machines and troubleshooting

Ability to lift( up to) 40Lbs
