Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Group Services is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be development and ownership of cost models for the three group service segments as well as communication with the customer division’s leadership. This position reports directly to the Controller with significant interaction with Division Managers, and the General Manager.  The candidate must also possess the ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the production environment and have the ability to communicate well with all levels of the division.  This role will also be an integral part of budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, developing financial models, as well as financial analysis. 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards, at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, business, or finance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Power BI
• CPA, CMA, Master’s Degree, or MBA
• Manufacturing or Cost Accounting experience
• SAP experience
• Experience working with profit/cost models
