Reporting to the Director of Partner Success, the Partner Development Associate I provides support and business services to customers and partners, enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing revenues associated with merchant customers solicited by strategic business partners.

About the Position:
Reporting to the Director of Partner Success, the Partner Development Associate I provides support and business services to customers and partners, enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing revenues associated with merchant customers solicited by strategic business partners.
- Reviewing agent leads and, using independent judgment and discretion, making the initial determination as to whether pursuit of a relationship would be advantageous to Company, using independent judgment and discretion, within Company parameters.
- Coordinating and assisting with client and partner product implementations, including, without limitation, training.
- Creating relationships with day-to-day account contacts to identify and build trust, confidence, loyalty, and mutual benefit with various strategic partners.
- Monitoring account and portfolio performance and reviewing the value of services provided to recommend enhancements and improvements in experience.
- Facilitating revenue growth via product enhancements and service promotions.
- Handling incoming calls from partners and working directly with external and internal personnel to resolve any complex or novel escalated issues which may arise within the relationship.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in merchant services or payment processing.
- Experience with high-risk payment processing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or another relevant field a plus!
- Previous experience specific to partner support/partner relations a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products including Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Card Brand rules and regulations.
- Understanding of various verticals and associated risks.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, across multiple groups and Departments.
- The ability to listen to others and communicate in an effective manner verbally and in written form.
