The UNH Manchester campus employs eligible candidates through the New Hampshire INBRE (grant funded research program), led by Dr. Kyle MacLea. Employees will work with a UNH Faculty member as their Principal Investigator to engage in guided research within various areas of biology.
Duties/Responsibilities
Engage in guided research within various areas of biology.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in Life Sciences is preferred.
Faculty or Staff recommendation is required.
Ability to work more than 20 hours per week
Willingness to work in-person, during academic terms and summer and winter breaks, as requested by their Principal Investigator.
This position will require handling materials including bio- and chemical hazardous materials, hazardous wastes, sharps materials, extreme temperature materials, materials ≤ 40 lbs. Training is provided as required for safety in workplace operations.
Applicants must be able to don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as related to and required by their duties.
