UNH NH-INBRE Researcher Associate

The UNH Manchester campus employs eligible candidates through the New Hampshire INBRE (grant funded research program), led by Dr. Kyle MacLea. Employees will work with a UNH Faculty member as their Principal Investigator to engage in guided research within various areas of biology.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Engage in guided research within various areas of biology.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Life Sciences is preferred.

• Faculty or Staff recommendation is required.

• Ability to work more than 20 hours per week

• Willingness to work in-person, during academic terms and summer and winter breaks, as requested by their Principal Investigator.

• This position will require handling materials including bio- and chemical hazardous materials, hazardous wastes, sharps materials, extreme temperature materials, materials ≤ 40 lbs. Training is provided as required for safety in workplace operations.

• Applicants must be able to don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as related to and required by their duties.
