Overview
The Regional HR Generalist assists the HR Department by providing consultation and coordination of services regarding HR projects and initiatives, operations, programs, systems, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance issues.

What You'll Do
Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
- Responsible for full cycle employee recruiting for all positions within the assigned territory or function. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and in person), schedules and manages the recruitment process, administers appropriate assessments and pre-employment screenings, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
- Handles processes for onboarding and offboarding employees within the agency.
- Develop a pipeline of potential candidates
- Develop and maintain relationships with various colleges, universities, and diverse groups.
- Attend various school sponsored events such as career fairs, dinners and other opportunities to interact with students.
- Maintain and manage open communication with hiring managers to keep them updated on open positions, progress, and challenges for all assigned roles.
- Uses HR systems to compile information, prepare a wide variety of personnel action forms containing confidential and sensitive information.
- Assist HR team with education and training of employees and supervisors on various HR systems including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, and AP Workplace e-Learning and Development and Performance Management.
- Assist HR Dept and other HR Managers administratively on a variety of HR related issues and tasks.
- May assist HR team to manage the employee performance review process. This includes ensuring Performance Reviews and /or Performance and Action Plans and documents are properly prepared, processed and filed.
- Enforce and support all programs within the agency(s) and/or region, initiatives and compliance related activities, including conducting internal audits to ensure compliance. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs and escalate as needed.
- Works closely with managers to resolve employee concerns.
- Works closely with HR Manager on employee apprectiation events.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with them.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel is expected to be 25% in this role.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Prefer SHRM- CP or Human Resources (PHR) designation
