As an R&D Engineer III - Software, you will design and develop desktop applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to software design and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring.
- Identify core functionalities of tire alignment services and equipment.
- Thrive as a leader in defining and solving problems with mutual support from your peers.
- Participate in design discussions around architecture and business requirements with architects and product owners.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and best practices across products, teams, and architecture.
- Develop both front and back end applications / services.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Trusted to own significant parts of both codebase and process.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required.
- 7+ years of professional experience is preferred.
- Understanding of micro services architecture.
- A firm grasp on industry standard design and testing best practices.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests as part of the development workflow.
- Experience with Native, .NET, Docker, Azure, and IoT technologies.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
