Job Description

This person will primarily support the Machine Maintenance and Facilities departments with parts inventory and maintaining the warehouse for maintenance.  This person is a service provider to many functions for indirect purchasing of materials and vendor contracts.

• Manage maintenance warehouse.
• Enter new part numbers into ERP.
• Run Inventory reports and requisition items below minimum/maximum.
• Get updated quotes on inventory items.
• Label items.
• Restock in warehouse.
• Match up items with P.O.’s in Workflows.
• Issue brass tag equipment numbers.
• Clean out P.O.’s at end of the month.
• Setup framework P.O.’s for services.
• Assist Facilities with purchasing requirements.
• Manage a company credit card (P-Card) for local purchases.
• Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean, safe work environment is promoted and maintained.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, clients, co-workers and management members.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills including Microsoft office and ability to learn SAP systems
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
• Ability to work in an office and manufacturing atmosphere
• Ability to manage professional/technical communication with internal and external customers

Desired qualifications:

• Previous maintenance clerical background
• Knowledge of SAP software would be a plus
• Experience working with vendors/purchasing

Additional Information

Standard manufacturing office environment in closed facility. Personal protection equipment recommended and/or required depending on working area (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields). Mandatory overtime may be required.
