About the role
Develop frameworks that influence data-driven business decisions.
As a senior data engineer at Gallup, you will use your expertise in architecture, development and data synthesis to administer, design, develop, test and deploy the data models powering complex reports and dashboards in an Oracle Cloud-based system. You will collaborate with technology and finance teams to understand business goals, requirements and challenges; curate data from a variety of sources; ensure data quality and consistency; and create a data ecosystem to support concise and actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders. You will use your expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, business intelligence tools, data modeling, data visualization and ETL processes to ensure the accuracy, efficiency and usability of Gallup’s deliverables.

What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, math or related field required
- At least five years of applied professional experience and leadership in data architecture and engineering required
- At least five years of experience in common data engineering tools and process such as SQL and ETL procedures required
- Experience in software development using PL/SQL in Oracle-based technology environments, such as OAC or OBIEE, required
- Ability to work at Gallup’s Omaha Riverfront campus at least three days per week required
- Knowledge of finance or experience working in a finance-driven organization highly preferred

Gallup offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance options; a 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching; and an employee stock ownership program. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $100K-$130K for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors including an individual's education, experience and skills. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses.
