Compensation: $36.52 / hour


Description

Lead recovery-focused teams and strengthen access to substance use services in rural communities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, time varies. This position will cover both High Ridge and Union locations. 

Position Summary

The Substance Use Recovery Supervisor provides leadership, clinical oversight, and day-to-day supervision for Therapists and Community Support Specialists delivering outpatient and community-based substance use recovery services. This role supports high-quality, person-centered care while fostering a collaborative, strengths-based environment aligned with our mission to Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Therapists and Community Support Specialists delivering outpatient and community-based substance use recovery services.
  • Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure quality, compliance, and continuity of care.
  • Partner with the Substance Use Recovery Director to support program operations, staff development, and service quality.
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Promote collaborative, culturally responsive care by coordinating with internal teams and community partners.
  • Monitor service delivery and treatment plans to support client strengths, preferences, progress, and recovery goals.
  • Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and progress toward departmental strategic goals.


Education, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School/Ged Required
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (RR)
Or
• If not a QAP, individual must meet the qualifications of a Community Support Specialist with at least three years of experience providing community support services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders in accordance with the community support key service functions specified in 9 CSR 30-3.157 Community Support in CSTAR and 9 CSR 10-4.047 Community Support in CPR. Experience is specific to the adult or child/youth/adolescent population the individual will supervise.
• A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
• Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) designation preferred
• CADC, CRADC, RADC, LMSW, PLPC, PLMFT, LCSW, LPC or LMFT preferred
