Position Overview  

 

We’re searching for a Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (  C# .NET, React) to join our Applied Epic Product team in a remote setting. In this role, you will collaborate with an Agile Scrum team to deliver high-quality technical solutions based on business requirements.

 

What You’ll Do

 

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to high-quality solutions for customers.

•  Design, develop, implement, test, document, release, and support production-quality software as we continuously improve scalability while maintaining velocity
• Contribute to development and new features, maintenance of existing functionality, and automated testing to provide high quality for customers
• Monitor application performance in production and non-production environments to proactively identify, debug, and resolve application and performance issues
• Collaborate within a development team to deliver high-quality and improve usability
• Continuously learn about new tools and technologies

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will also:

 

• Support the delivery of new features or system enhancements by completing development tasks
• Solve technical problems by analyzing solutions and seeking feedback from other members of the software development team or architects when needed
• Apply knowledge of software development practices and ensure alignment with internal standards
• Expand knowledge of technical designs and development standards by participating in design reviews and code reviews
• Maintain quality and efficiency as you work with a variety of technologies

The position with our team could be an excellent match for a Software Engineer with:

 

• 3+ years of experience creating enterprise software using C#, .NET, TypeScript, React, SQL Server, and Visual Studio
• Practical experience with software engineering principles and practices, including documentation, testing, debugging, data structures, software design, and design patterns
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, software security practices, and automated testing
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment

The position with our team could be an excellent match for a Senior Software Engineer with

 

• 8+ years of experience creating enterprise software using C#, .NET, TypeScript, React, SQL Server, and Visual Studio
• Practical experience with software engineering principles and practices, including documentation, testing, debugging, data structures, software design, and design patterns
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, software security practices, and automated testing
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment
• Advanced knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including complete software development life cycles, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Passion for continuously expanding knowledge of programming and web development while driving toward principles-based approaches for design, implementation and testing
• Advanced communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts to support others with complex problem-solving when working within software engineering teams and collaborating with architects

Additionally, you may have:

• Experience with Gitlab, Cypress, Go, Angular, Kubernetes, or containerization is a plus
