Job Description
The Corporate IT (CIT) organization at Visa is made up of several teams that all work towards the same goal. To build, operate, and maintain the IT systems and infrastructure necessary to enable a highly connected and collaborative workforce that helps power Visa’s business. The CIT Program Management and Business Operations (PMBO) team is responsible for cross-functional governance activities across the organization. The PMBO team is seeking a Sr. Director to lead the team accountable for the business management function, including workforce planning, audit & security management, employee engagement, etc.
This role will report to the Vice President of Program Management and Business Operations in CIT. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead, recruit, grow and retain high caliber talent.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and oversight to a team of about 10 employees and contractors. Provide team with expertise, direction, motivation, and encouragement. Demonstrate an inclusive and learning environment.
- Support senior and executive management in making critical decisions by providing regular executive level briefings focusing on key activities, risks, and financial standing on the overall portfolio. This includes development and management of:
- Portfolio level dashboards and metrics
- Facilitating reviews of critical, high-visible, projects
- Manage the submission of high quality and informative updates to C-Level management:
- Executive level dashboard reporting (portfolio and operational)
- Executive Committee and Board of Director reporting
- Executive Project Watch Lists
- Provide portfolio level oversight which includes:
- Work closely with the PMO teams, Technology, Planning & Business Operations (TPBO), Global Security and Finance teams to ensure compliance and partnership on the Project Management Methodology (PMM), Key Controls, audit and funding processes
- Ensure the CIT portfolio is in compliance with Visa's Project Management Methodology and Key Controls and that accurate and timely information is collected and reported regularly
- Work closely with Finance, TPBO, and CIT colleagues to navigate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process
- Communications & employee engagement:
- Coordinate all staff level activities including all staff meetings, town halls, lunch-and-learns, newsletters, training, team building, social impact, employee recognition, and other employee engagement related activities
- Develop and manage action plans in response to CIT employee surveys
- SharePoint site administration
- Workforce Planning: responsible for reporting, forecasting, and optimizing CIT global team of employees and contingent workforce within budget, including location strategies
- Governance & compliance
- Audit management: managing the review, coordination, and resolution of all internal and external audit findings
- Security administration: ensure full compliance with Visa’s strict security requirements through reporting, education, and advocacy
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
