About the role
As a Warehouse Lead, you will direct daily warehouse operations and lead a team to ensure all goals and operational objectives are met. In this role, you will assign daily work, supervise picking, receiving, and replenishment, and organize outgoing orders to maintain high accuracy. You will identify areas for operational improvement, update work procedures, maintain warehouse equipment, enforce safety programs, and resolve cross-departmental issues. Maintaining high visibility on the floor, you will lead by example, coach and mentor staff, and work closely with management to drive team performance and overall operational excellence.
What You Will Do
- Perform and supervise, picking, receiving, and put away of replenishment, or repack.
- Assign and leads daily work of staff members.
- Review, prioritize, and organize all outgoing orders and verifies order accuracy.
- Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and updating existing work procedures and practices.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
- Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor.
- Lead by example, trains, and motivates staff.
- Resolve warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.
- Coordinate with the area manager to address personnel issues and requests.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all warehouse operations and WMS functions.
- Maintain safety programs and all required safety training for assigned warehouse staff; complying with and implementing safety requirements and regulations
- Lead by example: trains, coaches and mentor's staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 Years of warehouse experience
- 0-3 years of leadership experience
- Forklift Certification required – must be able to maintain a current certification on a standup high-reach, sit down forklift and transporters
- Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to effectively communicate with employees throughout all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment
- Can easily adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of compliance and safety
- Fluent reading and writing skills
