Roles & Responsibilities: 

The Programmer Analyst IIdevelops, designs, implements and documents modifications to both vendor supplied and in-house operating systems to meet specific needs of the installation.

1. Works from or writes specifications to develop or modify software programs that will improve the efficiency of the operating system.

2. Develops logic, codes, tests and debugs software packages defined by higher-level software programmers or self.

3. Modifies, tests and debugs vendor supplied utilities, packages and engineering releases to better suit them to the operating environment.

4. Assists in developing and modifying relatively complex software, such as routines supporting multi programming, telecommunications and file management.

5. May provide assistance and training to other Programmers.

6. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems programming, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Based in New York/New Jersey area

 

 

Compensation Statement

 

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $82,000.00 - $123,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
