Duties and Responsibilities
This position is located in the Bureau of Dealer Services. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Mobile Home SAA and Installation Programs. This position provides administrative support to the Manager by notifying mobile home installers, manufacturers, dealers, and local government building officials regarding violations, program requirements and deadlines. This position will also respond to mobile home complaints; maintain databases to track violations, complaints, fines due, response dates and other information. This position assists with the development, maintaining and updates of training modules; compiles and prepares reports; revises and updates office procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Skill in communicating effectively, verbally and in writing
- Skill in planning, organizing and coordinating work assignments
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to utilize problem solving and decision-making techniques
- Ability to apply and interpret applicable rules, regulations, program policies and procedures.
- Ability to gather, compile and organize information
- Ability to review and evaluate information for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
- Ability to prepare correspondence and reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and perform assigned duties without direct supervision.
- Ability to operate general office equipment to include; personal computer, copier, fax machine and scanner
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
- Experience providing customer service
- Experience preparing written correspondence, to include e-mails, memos, or reports
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
