The Linen Attendant is responsible for receipt, inventorying and/or stocking of linens in-patient care or other areas. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Linen Attendant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

* Sorts and checks linen, preparing quantities for distribution in accordance with departmental requirements 

* Inventories departmental linen carts and restocks as necessary to patient care areas and/or PACER areas 

* Gathers soiled linens from men's locker room (including shower stalls), exercise floor and racquetball court area as appropriate (PACER) 

* Launders all dirty linens from massages, towels, washcloths, and exercise clothes (PACER) 

* Replenishes stock in men's locker room and exercise floor with towels, washcloths (locker room only) and hand towels (PACER) 

* Empties trashcans from men's locker room, coffee bar / lounge area and exercise floor when needed (PACER) 

The Linen Attendant reports to Manager Linen or Supervisor Fitness & Facility. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information. Frequent exposure to dust, lint, body fluids, and odors in soiled linen. Exposed to temperature changes caused by the location of the Linen Department and the requirement to transport linen to the soiled placement area.
