Job Description

As the Senior Director of Supplier Performance, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the supplier performance around strategic programs that improve the bottom line. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage supplier working capital, inventory, supplier business performance programs, supplier cost performance, supplier relationships, & supplier recognition. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive these improvements, lead the change management, streamline processes, and enhance financial & business performance.

Supplier Working Capital Management: Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to optimize working capital components within the supply base, including cash management, improvements to accounts payable, and supplier inventory programs. Monitor and analyze supplier working capital metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective cash flow management practices.

Inventory Management: Develop and implement supplier inventory management strategies and processes to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize obsolescence. Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to implement effective demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment practices.

Supplier Performance Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within supplier performance improvement programs. Streamline workflows, enhance system capabilities, and leverage technology solutions to drive operational efficiency and enhance accuracy in financial transactions.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, sourcing, business units, and operations, to align on supplier performance strategic programs and operational performance. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a strategic plan for supplier programs that aligns with the company's overall business goals

· Assess and prioritize supplier relationships, and develop plans to improve performance

· Identify, collaborate and implement new supplier sourcing strategies

· Lead change management efforts to ensure that all stakeholders are on board with the supplier programs

· Measure and report on the progress of the supplier programs, and make adjustments as needed

· Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as needed

· Develop and execute a strategic plan for supplier working capital that aligns with the company's overall financial goals

· Assess and prioritize supplier relationships, and develop plans to improve performance

· Manage the supplier onboarding process for meeting new working capital requirements

· Lead negotiations with suppliers to improve terms and conditions including supplier payment terms

· Provide insights to the business on how to improve supplier relationships

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Supply Chain with demonstrated financial acumen, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

· Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving results and managing cross-functional initiatives.
