Midas Auto Service Experts in Fremont is looking for a hardworking General Service Technician to join our busy, full-service repair shop. You’ll receive hands-on experience, work with modern equipment, and have opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the company.

What You’ll Do

Perform oil changes and routine preventive maintenance
Complete fluid exchanges and filter replacements
Conduct thorough vehicle safety and courtesy inspections
Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
Perform four-wheel alignments and alignment inspections
Test and replace batteries
Replace bulbs, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items
Accurately document completed services and inspection findings
Assist experienced technicians with shop operations and repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Previous automotive service experience is preferred
Wheel-alignment experience is strongly preferred
Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures and shop equipment
Strong mechanical ability and willingness to learn
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
Ability to manage time and stay productive in a fast-paced shop
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
