ATMC Cu Plate Equipment Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must have experience or knowledge in at least one of the following tool types: Akrion Gama Hoods, SCP 9400 Wet Hoods, Semitool SAT/SST, SRD’s, Mercury FSI, Semitool LT 210 Platers, Semitool Box Washers, and/or Novellus Sabre Platers.
• Daily tasks will include identifying and managing all parts, assemblies and calibration instruments required for PM activities primarily for the DRCA Hoods/Diffusion Furnaces and other critical equipment.
• This role will focus on optimizing PM activities, PM Kitting and ensuring that the WSS procedures are well written and updated based on feedback from the technicians and tool owners.
• Monitors, maintains, and performs a variety of repairs on semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment to insure uninterrupted production flow.
• Provides technical support in the form of troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly and calibration of equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals or written instructions.
• Performs routine electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for common area faults and issues
• Uses structured troubleshooting skills to diagnose root cause and appropriate permanent fixes.
• Maintains accurate logs of work performed, modifications, calibrations, and adjustments.
• Maintain area 5S and equipment efficiency requirements

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree plus 2 years industry experience in semiconductor fab or equivalent semiconductor fab experience as an Equipment Technician
• Strong team member
• Works with supervision to determine tool priorities and ETA's for returning down equipment to production
