Essential Job Functions: 

• Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests while maximizing sales volume.  Must upsell food and beverage items      

• Provide superior table service to guests in accordance with established standards 

• Ensures customer requests are completed in a courteous manner based on our standards. 

• Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetic standards 

• Interacts verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphere 

• Complete all payment transactions according to standard 

• Complete all side-work according to standard 

• Clean and re-set tables according to standard 

• Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers. 

• Responsible for checking IDs of all guests when in question, and not serving guests with no valid ID. 

• Complies with all established F&B standards 

• Must be able to suspend service to intoxicated individuals in accordance with Pennsylvania law 

• Execute other duties as assigned by management 

• Must have strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills 

• Must be fluent in English and demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly with guests and co-workers. 

• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. 

• Must have knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits and be familiar with menu items 

• Knowledge of TOAST Helpful, but not required. 

• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. 

• Must demonstrate the ability to upsell and drive revenue. 

• Must have a minimum of 3 years serving experience in an elevated-service restaurant or bar 

• Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and in making sound decisions. 

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and cordial behavior 

• Flexible working hours 

• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching 

• Must complete Pennsylvania's RAMP training
