Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal System Test Engineer to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be supporting the Sentinel, formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), program. This position will be located in Roy, UT.
What You'll Get To Do:
- Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.
- Coordinate schedules, and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing Teams.
- Support the Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy Utah.

Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Test Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Test Engineer level (T-04).
- Principal Systems Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Sr. Principal Systems Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience, 6 years of experience with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading hardware procurement/supply chain operations
- Possesses strong leadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in system development
- Experience working within a multi-team environment
- Experience with Engineering Procurement System and Capital/Gov't Hardware Control
- Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
- Experience facilitating Program Reviews
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience with tableau and data analytics
- Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity
- Experience with high level customer engagement
- Experience with Agile Project Management
- Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics
- Experience with a Test environment
