Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Business Intelligence Jr. Analyst will assist in optimizing business information workflows and integrating data across various software systems. This role focuses on enhancing data integrity from both existing and new programs, ensuring accurate and reliable information to support decision-making processes. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and implement solutions that drive business insights and improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Supports data collection across all entities to facilitate accurate and useful reporting
• Keeps up with company needs to maintain software and hardware applications to ensure we are effective in mining data
• Supports processes in integrating data for consistent reporting
• Drives improvements to software system use, procedures and workflows
• Identifies development needs in order to streamline the flow of data between applications
• Assists the BI Analyst in developing and maintaining reports/dashboards to allow operations to make high-level decisions in real time

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science or related is preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience with Power BI is preferred
• Experience in systems, data analysis, SQL and/or data management preferred
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented; have above average interpersonal skills and have excellent follow-through capability
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment; able to accurately process written documents, perform duties in a timely manner and be highly organized
• Ability to develop and maintain systems / processes
• Advanced computer skills are required:
  • MS Office Suite
  • Computer, systems and/or database experience preferred

Location: NYC/Montclair

 

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 commensurate with experince
