About the RoleThe Senior Accountant is responsible for month end close and performing accounting for US and Foreign subsidiaries. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze financial data and accounting schedules
• Assist in preparing foreign subsidiary financial workpapers
• Prepare journal entries for elimination of intercompany activity
• Prepare GL account reconciliations
• Prepare workpapers and schedules for audits
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
• Research accounting issues and updating policies and procedures
• Complete special projects and assist the manager as needed 

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5 – 8 years of experience in a corporate accounting role
• Must have strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of full cycle accounting
• Intermediate skills in Excel and proficiency in Accounting software
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective prioritization of work and meeting deadlines
• Must collaborate well with team members in Finance as well as outside the department
• CPA candidate is ideal but not required
• Previous experience in large or high growth companies is ideal but not required

What We Offer

• The base salary range for this position is $60K to $85/year.  Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
