Improvement Leader - Operational Excellence

This position will work on impactful process improvement projects to support the AAHC achieving its operational and strategic goals. This role will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to develop their problem-solving capabilities.
The Improvement Leader leads and provides training, facilitation and development of Value Stream based, strategic, process improvement projects. In partnership with local system leadership, establishes policy and direction (programs and services). Responsible for the execution of Lean techniques and methodologies in support of the organization's financial, quality and patient safety goals. Assists facility-based Process Owners, or equivalent, ensure on time completion of projects in alignment with the
organization's mission, vision, and strategic imperatives. Provides ongoing knowledge transfer and development to team members and leaders throughout the organization. Applies Operations Research techniques (e.g. statistics, simulation, forecasting, optimization) to solve complex business problems. Manages multiple projects simultaneously that contribute to improvements in patient satisfaction, team member engagement, and operational efficiencies. Communicates results and recommendations to senior leadership through verbal presentations and written reports.

listening and seeks further information to ensure clarity and understanding. Promptly responds to requests for information while obtaining guidance where needed.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- 3-5 years experience leading process improvement in a Lean enterprise or equivalent experience within IU Health.
- Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.
