Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Current licensure (or licensure eligibility) by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy*
*Permanent AL State Board of Pharmacy license will be required within 2 months of placement into position
Desired Qualifications
Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy operations and procedures
Working knowledge of practice in specialty care areas
Completion of PGY1
Responsibilities
Ensures appropriate, safe, effective, and efficient use of medications through the application of pharmaceutical principles in order to provide optimal patient outcomes. Coordinates optimal use of and access to outpatient infusion drug therapies.
