About the role

Porter

Our service departments run best when every detail is handled — and our Service Porters are a key part of making that happen.

We're looking for a reliable Service Porter to keep our service department safe, clean, and running smoothly. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who takes pride in their environment, works well independently, and wants to be part of a strong automotive team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer and dealership vehicles to and from the service lane, stalls, and parking areas safely and at all times within legal speed limits.
  • Clean and maintain all customer-facing areas including the waiting room, refreshment station, and restrooms; restock supplies as needed.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain service stalls, shop floors, offices, locker rooms, hallways, and vending areas.
  • Assist technicians with oil and water spills; drain and dispose of used oil filters in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, shop signs, mirrors, and all dealership vehicles inside and out.
  • Remove snow and debris from driveways and sidewalks to ensure safe access for customers and staff.
  • Run errands and assist the service department with day-to-day support tasks as directed by the Service Manager.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required — we'll train the right person.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record (required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain physically active throughout the shift.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious with a good work ethic.
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment and following OSHA safety guidelines.

Benefits

  • Affordable Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family.
  • Competitive 401(k): Build your future with our retirement savings plan.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Includes paid holidays and vacation after 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave: Support for new mothers and fathers.
  • Paylocity "Pay On Demand": Access your earnings before payday (up to $2,000).
  • Employee Discounts: Discounts on vehicle servicing and new car purchases.
  • Continuous Training & Mentorship: Grow professionally and advance your career within our group.
  • Employee Tenure & Recognition Program: We celebrate milestones and contributions.
  • Fun Company Events: Awesome experiences for employees and their families!
