We are seeking a Logistics Training Supervisor to lead and develop training programs for our production teams. This role ensures employees receive the necessary skills, and knowledge, to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes, instructional design, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Design, implement, and oversee training programs for manufacturing employees.
  • Assess training needs and develop curriculum for onboarding, safety, quality control, and production techniques.
  • Conduct hands-on, and classroom training sessions, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps and create targeted training solutions.
  • Maintain training records and track employee progress to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve content based on feedback.
  • Ensure all training aligns with company policies, OSHA standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Coach and mentor employees to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and implement innovative training methods.
  • Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Experience developing training materials and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt training methods for diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Certification in instructional design or training development (e.g., ATD, OSHA Train-the-Trainer).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency (if applicable to workforce needs).
  • Experience working in logistics, or warehouse setting.
  • Experience in manufacturing systems such as JDE, FACTORYworks, or SAP.
  • Experience with processes such as Quality Systems documentation protocols.
  • Strong focus on developing an organizational culture that fosters teamwork.
  • Ability to support and drive change while leading under pressure.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Requires 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on training and development.
